At The Bros Woodworking Co, We Pour Our Hearts and Souls Into It.
Each piece is handcrafted with pride right here in Jacksonville, using solid wood that tells a story. We embrace the natural beauty of wood, including its unique grain patterns, knots, and variations. We believe that the imperfections in wood are what make it truly special. Just like every tree is unique, so is every table we build. Here's what you can expect when you order a handcrafted farmhouse table from The Bros:
Solid wood expands and contracts with changes in temperature and humidity. This may cause gaps between boards in traditional tabletops over time. This is a natural characteristic of solid wood and does not affect the structural integrity of the table. For those who prefer no gaps, we recommend our jointed top option.
Our handcrafted furniture may have open knots, visible brush strokes, unique distress marks, and other natural imperfections. We allow up to approximately 1" of variation in measurements due to the custom nature of our work.
- Wood & Stain Variations: Each piece of wood has its own personality and absorbs stain differently. While we use the stain color you request, the final result may vary slightly from photos or other tables. This is the nature of working with real wood, and we embrace these variations.
- Matching Stain Colors: We cannot guarantee exact stain matches from photos. If you have a specific stain in mind, please provide us with the stain and wood type you'd like us to use.
- Sanding & Stain Colors: The level of distressing affects how the stain appears. Finely sanded tables tend to have a lighter stain, while heavily distressed tables have a darker stain due to open pores in the wood.
We provide estimated lead times with every order. Our typical lead times are 4-6 weeks. However, please understand that these are estimates, and actual completion times may vary. We strive to deliver your table as soon as possible while maintaining our high-quality standards.
